About the Position:
The Administrative Assistant provides customer services to families receiving child support services either in person or by phone. This individual is responsible for answering the phones, assisting walk-in customers and other visitors to the office. The position reports to the Team Leader and will be responsible for the following:
- Greet customers
- Direct customers to appropriate staff for services
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Provides clerical support for the office
- Receives, sorts, and delivers internal communication materials, mail, and packages
- Prepares documents for the scanning/imaging process
- Scans and routes all incoming/outgoing documents (e.g., applications, genetic testing results, and correspondence)
- Assist with other office needs, including copying and court services needs
- Performs routine typing, including memos, letters, and reports
- Perform related duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year’s experience in clerical position preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and operating a personal computer
- Exceptional communication skills
