ABOUT THE POSITION & ITS IMPACT

The Clinical Specialist is the “magic” in our clinical rooms. Simply put, this role is the clinician changing lives in our world-class therapeutic workshops and intensives. This position is responsible for leading workshops and, occasionally, our individual, couple or family intensives. This role is part of our full-time staff and large clinical community that facilitates the weekly programs that sees thousands of clients every year. Working alongside the Clinical Director and Programming teams, this role will serve the needs of the participants in each program. 


ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY IN THIS ROLE: 

  • You’ll facilitate weekly workshops or intensives (likely 2-3 per month), periodically lecture or present educational sessions for clients and work with other clinicians to produce successful therapeutic outcomes for clients
  • Work with admissions to support clinical review and approval of clients at Onsite and advise administrators on the best clinical matches (both therapist and group assignments)
  • This position will advise and create clinical programming, content development for new programs and be a trusted advisor to Clinical Leadership in the areas of increased client acuity, clinical innovation, emerging modalities and more
  • Due to the nature of this position, candidates will be required to facilitate workshops or intensives from Thursday – Tuesday and will be required to work weekends when assigned to facilitate
  • Assist in case management, customer service needs and managing referent relationship management

Requirements

IDEAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE:

Typically, with most openings within our team we have very open and flexible requirements for evaluating candidates for a position. However, given this role is clinical in nature we require strict adherence to these needs: 

  • Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required. Must hold current Tennessee License or other state license working towards TN credentials within one (1) year of hire
  • Two (2) years of intensives experience and experience treating trauma
  • Knowledge and experience of Experiential and Psychodrama therapeutic modalities
