Summary/ Objective

We are looking for a well-rounded technologist who has both Software Development and Product Ownership experience. This role will support several solutions including but not limited to PIM, Martech, HRIS. Additional areas where this role will be the secondary support are ERP, Analytics, and eCommerce 


Essential Functions

  • Analyze the needs of the business
  • Design, test and develop the software and or systems that match those needs
  • Keep current on technology and use that knowledge to make sure company systems are up to date with the latest enhancements
  • Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Works with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers.
  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree plus three to five years of relevant experience (additional experience in place of a degree is acceptable)


Preferred Education and Experience

Software development and system management experience within a high growth company


Additional Eligibility Qualifications

None required for this position.


Supervisory Responsibility

The Software Engineer does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
