Description

EOI is looking for an experienced Technology Admin Analyst to join our Technology team focusing on supporting our System Analysts and Solutions Delivery teams. The primary focus will be supporting the technical aspects of benefits administration systems support, primarily in the Bswift and Selerix platforms. 


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This is an individual contributor role and does not entail direct supervision of other employees. 


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the System Analysts and Technology team as needed. 
  • Liaise with external partners and IT support teams to address and resolve complex issues.
  • Act as part of the primary point of contact for technical issues related to benefits administration systems.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in benefits administration and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement best practices to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
  • Track project progress and communicate status to internal and external team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with technology implementation process as needed. Examples include analyzing and organizing data and providing to system analyst, auditing imported data to ensure accuracy, reviewing benefit structure rules, plan build, and rates.
  • Regular system and data reviews for payroll, carrier, and enrollments to ensure system is functioning as expected.
  • Assist with carrier discrepancy reports.
  • Fulfill report requests by building reports within the enrollment platform or completing reporting analysis outside of the enrollment platform.
  • Manual system updates including Life Events/ Class Changes/ Terminations/Adds.
  • Assist with researching and troubleshooting SSO issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide explanations and directions to clients regarding system updates and steps to be taken.
  • Distribute billing suite reports.
  • Work with clients, brokers, and carriers on claims assistance. 
  • Complete evidence of insurability updates within the enrollment platform by comparing carrier reports to the enrollment platform.
  • Remove over-age dependents as the dependent ages out of eligibility. 
  • Research demographic import file errors.
  • Build and distribute commission reporting to carriers.
  • Build and distribute termination reporting to carriers.
  • Policy holder listing comparisons against enrollment platform.
  • System updates based off policy holder listings.
  • Research and advise on coverage questions and eligibility from client, broker, carrier, and internal team members. 
  • Research and complete benefit coverage adjustments.
  • Work with carrier regarding coverage questions from client.
  • Pull reports from carrier sites for audits.
  • Test and troubleshoot enrollment platform as needed.
  • Reset Admin and Employee logins as requested.
  • Manual updates in enrollment platform for COBRA trigger.
Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with HR, IT, and other departments.
  • Thorough understanding of benefits, technology builds, third party integrations.
  • Ability to think through implementing processes and their impact.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Business, or similar field preferred
  • Five years of related experience preferred
  • Experience in conducting data audits to maintain data integrity within the enrollment system.
  • Experience in developing and documenting best practices for system usage and optimization.


Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • The seasonal nature of Open Enrollments will demand extended availability during the Q4 “busy season”
