Specialist; Supply Chain Management
Description

Position Summary:

Prepare documents and electronic files necessary for the issuance, forecasting, movement and processing of finished goods. 


Responsibilities: include but are not limited to -

  • Coordinate inventory planning process and control through shipment of products to meet/exceed company objectives and customer requirements.
  • Assist Packaging and Manufacturing Departments in scheduling of special projects and new product launches
  • Create packaging and manufacturing jobs in ERP system, allocate bulk to open packaging jobs.
  • Issue detail tickets for completed bulk and packaged stock orders for shipment.
  • Evaluate forecasts and stock items, ensuring batches are issued and items are available as needed.
  • Monitor new orders and determine quantities required for items manufactured at CPC as well as items purchased by CPC.
  • Prepare and submit paperwork for inspections, line trials and destructions.
  • Request samples for trade shows, new customers, and QA testing.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Management or related required.
  • Minimum two years’ work experience in materials management, logistics, operations and/or accounting in manufacturing company.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel with very strong analytical aptitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and problem solve.
  • Extremely detail oriented.

Physical Demands:

  • Required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, computer controls.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to focus. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand or walk for long periods.

Work Environment:

  • Required to be present in the office to provide immediate departmental support daily.
  • Employee travel/work hours/schedule/location and/or shift are subject to change based on business needs and Management discretion. 
  • Regular, ongoing travel throughout geographic areas on a continual basis as normal scope of role.

Pay Range:

$50,000 - $60,000 per year
