FLEXTRADES is a rapidly growing national provider of production solutions, and we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to develop new business across the U.S.


As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for calling on manufacturing companies to uncover production challenges and discuss the FLEXTRADES’ unique business model for providing production solutions. Reporting to the Manager of Business Development you will call, email and network with potential new client contacts via campaign outreach and follow up to deliver qualified opportunities into the new business process.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound business-to-business (B2B) prospecting calls assigned by FlexTrades’ lead generation team to initiate high-quality, consultative prospecting conversations
  • Develop and nurture leads to generate and qualify multiple pipeline opportunities for new business on a weekly basis
  • Partner with FlexTrades Client Solutions Managers to achieve web-based discovery presentations that progress through the sales cycle and result in new client job orders that deploy technicians to make a difference for FlexTrades clients.
  • Detail FlexTrades’ unique business model that bridges gaps and delivers results for clients by tailoring our value proposition, case studies and examples of successes partnering with clients to the prospective client’s individual needs.
  • Answer questions regarding FlexTrades solutions, while identifying additional business opportunities.
  • Gather prospective client information and document in Salesforce CRM, with high degree of accuracy and consistency.
  • Schedule prospective qualified clients for meetings with our Client Solutions team.
  • Partner with team members to observe interactions throughout the sales cycle and for enhancement of knowledge for your development.
  • Develop new and creative ways to obtain additional new business opportunities for your efforts prospecting, working campaigns and follow up.
  • Demonstrate openness to coaching and eager to learn new strategies and tactics to obtain business.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years Business to business (B2B) sales experience required
  • Proven sales skills, self-drive and communication skills
  • Strong ability to show curiosity for uncovering prospective client needs
  • Experience utilizing technology tools (MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and CRM experience)
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred (will consider sales experience in lieu of degree)
  • Limited travel required (quarterly sales meetings).
  • Manufacturing Industry experience preferred
  • Staffing/Workforce Solutions experience
