We are seeking a Capacity Sales Representative to support our Sales team. This individual will be
responsible for providing assistance through maintaining developed business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers, agents and other team members
- Research load information
- Report client requests
- Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met
- Negotiate price and cost of carrier services
- Update service-level reports and provide analysis on results
- Escalate ongoing performance issues to Carrier Relations Manager
- Negotiating rates and schedules, working together to implement time and cost-saving innovations
- Provide technology and data to carriers to ensure all parties are connected
- Work hand in hand with carriers to provide outstanding service to customers.
- Ability to build strong inter-professional relationships
- Experience working with carriers and operational knowledge in telecommunications
- Experience in analyzing data and communicating information to the appropriate party
- Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple projects and issues at the same time in a fast-paced changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
