Teller Supervisor
Description

The Teller Supervisor leads the daily activities to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient operation of the teller line at the branch. Sets the standard for excellent member service and adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and practices among the TEAM.


Responsibilities

  • Supervises teller TEAM within the branch. Coaches, trains, and provides guidance to tellers on operational functions. Ensures that Alabama ONE standards are met and that all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations are met. Serves as a conduit of information from branch and Credit Union leadership and the teller line.
  • Ensures proper cash control at the branch. Manages vault and conducts audits based on a defined schedule and as necessary. Balances drawers, ATM/ITM, and cash recyclers. Monitors security procedures of branch operations and instructs tellers on appropriate protocol.
  • Provides excellent member service by conducting financial transactions for members. Serves as an escalation point to resolve member issues.
  • Assists in balancing and resolving issues related to outages and reports issues appropriately. Ensures appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared and submitted in accordance with set standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

High school diploma or GED and three to five years of progressively responsible experience working in a financial institution. Must possess a stong operational knowledge and organizational skillset. Ability to communicate effectively with those internal and external to the Credit Union. Ability to coach, motivate, and supervise teller TEAM.
