The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading multiple Agile teams, ensuring they are functioning at their highest level of productivity by effectively using the Agile framework. The successful candidate will have experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies, possess good communication and leadership skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. 

Job Summary: We are looking for a results-oriented, self-motivated Scrum Master who will be a key player in enabling teams to deliver high-quality products in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be a champion of Agile principles and practices and will work to continuously improve the team's performance and delivery.



Note: The estimated start date for this role will be October 1, 2024. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment and deliver incremental product software with high quality. 
  • Ensure team understands the projects goals and scope
  • Coach development team in self-organizing
  • Keep the organization up to date on the team’s progress
  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for multiple Scrum teams.
  • Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is refined and prioritized, and the team is working on the highest priority items.
  • Identify and remove any impediments that may be blocking the team's progress and escalate them when necessary.
  • Ensure that team members are empowered to make decisions and work towards a common goal.


Requirements


  • 3+ years’ experience as a Software Developer, Product Support Specialist, QA, or other related technical position
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in management role, educational or EdTech preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence team members.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, and experience in implementing them in a team setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and remove impediments to team progress.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is required.
  • Bachelor’s  degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field 

It would be great if you have or are pursuing the following:

  • PMP certification

  • Google Suite
  • MS Office Suite
  • SalesForce
  • JIRA and Confluence
  • AWS
