Account Executive
Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive for our Commercial Insurance team to grow and support Wells Insurance in the greater Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. Our Account Executive retains current clients and develops future Commercial Insurance clients by:

  • Working with prospective clients to assess their Commercial Insurance needs
  • Developing accounts and cross selling products and services
  • Working with carriers to ensure that prospective clients receive favorable quotes
  • Collaborate with account managers and the marketing team to complete proposals and selection of potential markets
  • Developing and delivering formal proposals of insurance program
  • Growing and maintaining relationships
Requirements

To be a good fit for the Account Executive role, you will need:

  • Valid North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Five years of experience Commercial Insurance sales
  • Experience with Risk Management to include: MOD promulgations, developing loss analysis, loss control reviews, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team – including account managers, carriers and claims adjusters
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Acceptable results of pre-employment background screening
