Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive for our Commercial Insurance team to grow and support Wells Insurance in the greater Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. Our Account Executive retains current clients and develops future Commercial Insurance clients by:
- Working with prospective clients to assess their Commercial Insurance needs
- Developing accounts and cross selling products and services
- Working with carriers to ensure that prospective clients receive favorable quotes
- Collaborate with account managers and the marketing team to complete proposals and selection of potential markets
- Developing and delivering formal proposals of insurance program
- Growing and maintaining relationships
Requirements
To be a good fit for the Account Executive role, you will need:
- Valid North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
- Five years of experience Commercial Insurance sales
- Experience with Risk Management to include: MOD promulgations, developing loss analysis, loss control reviews, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team – including account managers, carriers and claims adjusters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word & Outlook
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Acceptable results of pre-employment background screening
