Description

We are currently seeking kind and compassionate Caregivers (CNA, PSS, RCA) to join our wonderful team, offering Full-time, Part-time and Per Diem positions at $18 to $21 per hour PLUS +$1 per hour shift differential for Weekends, +$2 for Evenings and +$4 for Overnights! Per Diem is additional + $1 per hour. Ask about our shared employee housing!

Responsibilities include assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as defined on the Care Plan; completing all other assignments, and duties as directed by the Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager or Resident Care Coordinator, encouraging participation in the life enrichment program, and being highly observant of resident conditions and behaviors, and potentially unsafe resident situations, or environmental safety concerns, reporting them immediately to the Charge Nurse.

Mandatory hours (working beyond scheduled shift) could be required at times to meet unexpected demands.

Adhering to all company rules, safety protocols, policies, procedures, and expectations

Providing a positive and productive environment by promoting a positive image and collaborative working style with other team members

Communicating effectively at shift changes to ensure all relevant information is provided to the oncoming shift regarding resident status

Completing all shift assignments and documents according to company requirements.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one year of similar experience providing direct care in a similar environment is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Experience exercising good judgment in a variety of challenging circumstances is also required.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED is required.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • CNA or PSS preferred, no certification required if over the age of 18 with a willingness to learn the required skills
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified within six months of hire.
