OrthoAtlanta, a premier Southeast practice known for its integrated approach to musculoskeletal care, is seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide athletic training services for McDonough High School


In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes by developing and implementing injury prevention programs.
  • Evaluate and manage sports-related injuries, illnesses, and conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to help athletes return to play safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and school staff to provide comprehensive athletic healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all healthcare delivery policies.
  • Educate and mentor student athletic trainers and promote overall athlete wellness.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Some travel required for away games or championship events.

Requirements
  • 1-5 years of experience as a certified athletic trainer.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • BOC certification and state licensure as an athletic trainer.
  • CPR/AED certification for healthcare providers.
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and treatment skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and a passion for sports medicine.

  • Must have reliable transportation
