Description

Sales Development Representatives at MEDITECH focus on supporting a regional sales team in customer acquisition and retention, as well as in navigating the sales engagement process with both new and existing customers. This is an inside sales role for a thoughtful, energetic, highly organized, motivated, well-spoken, and eager individual looking to start in and grow their sales career at a company transforming healthcare on a global scale by providing innovative software and service solutions to healthcare organizations (hospitals, health systems, ambulatory clinics/practices). As a member of our Sales team, your job would involve:


  • Gaining familiarity with your region’s healthcare marketplace and knowledge of MEDITECH’s broad suite of products and services
  • Utilizing outreach methodologies such as cold and warm calling, written communication, and other vehicles such as social media and LinkedIn, to engage with new potential clients as well as existing client organizations
  • Pursuing, as assigned, an understanding of current needs and be able to provide recommendations and support to customers and the regional sales team in facilitating problem or issue resolution
  • Providing support through the different stages of the Sales Cycle including: initial interest, RFP/RFI management, quoting and proposal generation, meeting and presentation planning, preparation, and coordination, validation, and contracting
  • Engaging in follow-up from marketing campaigns and trade show investments lead management to engage prospective business opportunities, which includes website form submissions and other relevant HubSpot integrations
  • Occasional travel may be required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related work experience (including associated internships)
  • Comfort level making cold calls and talking to new people
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, authoring sales-oriented letters, and building sales presentations as well as the utilization of Salesforce, Google GSuite, and quoting and contracting tools as deployed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential and existing customers
  • Tenacious, persuasive, and goal-oriented personality
  • Experience working in a team environment with each member performing different functions
  • Ability to work under pressure in time sensitive situations
  • Energetic, engaging, and friendly demeanor
  • Self-motivated and self-directed

  • You may be required to show proof of vaccination when traveling to a customer site unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption.

This is a hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
