Stella & Chewy’s, one of the fastest growing premium pet food companies, is looking for a Social Media and Community Manager. The Social Media and Community Manager will be the voice, ears and eyes of Stella & Chewy’s brand on social media while developing a highly engaged digital community. The ideal candidate is resourceful, collaborative, has a high attention to detail, can work in fast-paced/high-energy environment and has a passion for pets (and the people around them).

Essential Functions include the following:
- Be the sole lead on community management on all brand social platforms.
- Lead, build, and distribute monthly editorial calendars for content marketing (calendar includes social media, email, website, and blog) as well as provide recommendations for reactive social content.
- Lead proactive and reactive social media engagement and listening strategy, reactive communication, and analysis on relevant brand communications in the market.
- Drive creative ideation and deliver innovative, best-in-class social campaigns for pet parents.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and ideas to support development of impactful content strategy.
- Collaborate with the Influencer and Brand Partnerships Manager on the curation and acquisition of UGC (User Generated Content) content.
- Use data to measure success and growth on priority social KPIs and compile and present key social insights (potential KPI’s of engagement, traffic, community growth, etc.).
- Create reactive and trending short-form social media content (video and static) when applicable.
- Work closely and collaboratively across teams to provide a best-in-class experience for pet parents and continue to identify opportunities across digital channels.
- Manage deadlines and project plans to ensure all initiatives launch on time.
- Assist in marketing-related administrative duties such as fulfilling shipments.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in social media and content marketing, ideally a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and/or DTC brand.
- In-depth knowledge of current upcoming social media channels and platforms.
- Understands channel best practices, key growth drivers, and competitive levers with a proven record of optimizing performance.
- Highly knowledgeable and passionate about social media planning and analytic tools (Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, etc.)
- Ability to excel in both the analytical and creative side of social media.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift priorities to meet rapidly evolving business needs.
- Creative problem-solver with a high attention to detail who demonstrates curiosity and strives for constant improvement.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to speak in a brand’s voice and provide excellent customer service.
