JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the frontline of CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas's service to employers requiring management of various service options. It is responsible for meeting customer satisfaction, placement goals and relationship building through continual communication with employers, partnering agencies and CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Establish and maintain relationships with employers while managing employer expectations.
- Increase the number of employers who list demand occupation and high wage jobs
- Reference to and document other job boards
- Contact employers on a regular basis to generate new business, review existing job order activity and solicit additional job orders or services
- Knowledge of employer based training grants such as WIOA, OJT, PWE and internships
- Communicate and explain CareerSource Pinellas programs, systems and process
- Offer other services, depending on what openings an employer has, and what information an employer provides at follow-up
- Write, edit, and coordinate development of promotional materials, career fair materials, and/or brochures, as appropriate.
- Ensure completion of clerical support tasks, including creation, typing, and editing correspondence, reports, and other publications. May perform specialized activities to support the project objectives and protocol.
- Ensure job orders are clearly written, non-discriminatory, and provide a fair representation of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by the employer
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify, source and place qualified candidates through multiple means
- Review job orders to ensure recruiters and other personnel are providing quality customer service
- Provide training to personnel in relation to outlined job duties and needs of the organization and professional development team
- Participation and organization of job fairs, employment seminars, networking groups and workshops
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Five (5) years experience in direct sales or customer service work with a preference for staffing agency experience or other employer outreach experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

- Knowledge of online job exchange systems and the use of keyword search engines and spidering technology
- Knowledge of Federal & State laws and regulations relating to public employment services, the Workforce Investment Act, and other One-Stop Career Center programs incorporated through Florida’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stooping. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.
- Crouching. Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
- Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Pushing. Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
- Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed instructions to other or important spoken workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
