Maintains responsibility for organizing, planning, and directing the company's consumer loan functions to maximize membership, profits and growth. Oversees the consumer loan programs provided by the credit union; assure that lending activities of the company meets the needs of the members, comply with all organizational policy and regulatory requirements and are administered to minimize risk to the financial institution. Carries out the credit union's consumer loan objectives within the credit union's branch network, including training, observing/coaching, and mentoring the consumer lenders. Oversees our consumer loan origination platform in a manner to drive an efficient workflow for an optimal member experience.

EXPERIENCE 2-5 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES A college degree is preferred but not required 

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS The ability to motivate or influence inside or outside senior level executives is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogue, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position. 

OTHER SKILLS Knowledge of State and Federal regulations affecting consumer and student loans. Knowledge of consumer loan policies, procedures, products, and services. Technical knowledge of loan origination & servicing systems.
