Job Summary: 

Fire Truck Technician is responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire trucks and emergency vehicles to meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the proper techniques, materials, and safety procedures, as well as excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire trucks and emergency vehicles
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of firefighting equipment and systems 
  • Collaborate with team members and provide technical support and guidance as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a fire truck technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics 
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills 
  • Certification or training in fire apparatus maintenance and repair is a plus
