Description
Job Summary:
Commercial Sales Account Manager requires an in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the building materials supply business and generate in excess of $3 million in sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage an existing portfolio of customer accounts while identifying new product category growth opportunities within those accounts.
- Generate sales growth opportunities with prospective customers.
- Attend client/builder meetings in showroom, client office, and/or jobsite.
- Conduct product selection meetings with client/builder in our showroom.
- Travel to job sites to perform jobsite verification of window/millwork specs/measurements on ongoing projects.
- Perform material take-offs on smaller scale projects.
- Respond to builder communications via phone/email/text.
- Be actively involved in the flow of materials to the jobsite (estimating, job setup and coordination, ordering, scheduling delivery, credits, job close-out and resolution).
- Assist the sales team with all details of ongoing projects.
- Communicating with inside support staff.
- Talking with vendors.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Requires High School Diploma and 3-5 years of lumberyard experience or 2-4 year degree related to business or construction industry.
- Mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements of square foot and cubic foot
- Strong computer skills and understanding of Zuern Building Products software platform
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, climb and reach
- Vast product knowledge of building materials and practices
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and customers
- Excellent customer service skills
Work Requirements:
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and medically able to operate a Zuern company vehicle
- Must be willing and able to travel with Zuern provided company vehicle up to 60 percent of the time
