Please note: Although based out of Richmond, this is a field position requiring regular travel. Most repair jobs will likely be within a 100-mile radius of the Richmond shop, but some jobs may be farther away. There will also be ongoing travel for training during the first 6-12 months.

Summary: To provide technical support and repair of municipal customers' equipment in the field (water/wastewater environments). To maintain the quality of service at a high level in support of the company’s sales effort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Inspect, repair, and service customer equipment at the customer’s location in response to customers’ calls.
- Understanding and ability to repair electrical controls
- Travel for customer assistance or training
- Establish a work schedule in coordination with Service & Repair Manager and Repair Coordinator
- Perform preventative maintenance service on customer equipment at the customer’s location.
- Perform some in-shop equipment repair.
- Maintain field or shop work area in a safe, clean, and working order.
- Adhere to Tencarva and customer safety rules and policies.
- Proper safety equipment to be used per Company safety policies
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2-4 years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Equipment Operated: Forklift, hoist, crane, hand tools, power tools, drills, band saw, drill press, lathe mills, and other equipment deemed necessary to fulfill the job’s functions.
