The Family Institute (TFI) at Northwestern University, a leading behavioral health system that integrates clinical service, education, and research, has openings for full-time staff psychotherapists on the Couple Clinical Services team. The team provides theoretically grounded, scientifically informed treatment to couples with diverse backgrounds across the lifespan. 

Primary responsibilities include effectively managing a caseload (26 sessions weekly), being a collaborative member of our Couple Service team, and demonstrating an ongoing investment in professional development. Opportunities for teaching, clinical supervision, and program development may be available for qualified applicants. 

Requirements 


We are seeking Doctoral or Master-level clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, PhD, PsyD) who are licensed or license-eligible in Illinois. Our ideal candidates possess a background in systemic psychotherapy, demonstrate cultural humility, flexibility working across levels of the system (e.g., individual, couple, and family), and competence in incorporating scientifically informed treatment into their practice.
