The Training Specialist will assist the Director of Training in enhancing the competencies of individual employees, which will improve workplace performance in alignment with the company's business goals and objectives by planning and implementing training programs and workshops.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing program curricula to achieve instructional objectives for Business Development and Customer Relationships that will prepare employees for the next step of their career path.
  • Navigate and support both organization-specific and vendor software systems.
  • Introduce new employees to the company's culture, objectives, and development timeline expectations.
  • Evaluate employees and identify areas of improvement. 
  • Create reports, track attendance, organize training, and conduct assessments for targeted growth. 
  • Motivate and inspire employees to participate in training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge, leading to further development and growth within the organization.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and workshops through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Perform load audits to ensure all processes and procedures are followed as instructed and recommend improvement areas.
  • Maintain accreditation with Armstrong Academy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
Requirements

 

  • One year of experience in a broker-related role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver and facilitate group and individual instructional training.
  • Knowledge of various training and teaching methods.
  • Knowledge of talent methods and management and succession planning methods.
  • Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinker and solution-oriented.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database software. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Daily duties must be performed on-site.
