What You’ll Do

  • Manage bi-weekly, multi-state payroll processing for approximately 1,000+ employees across multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations
  • Review and validate employee time records, earnings, deductions, and payroll adjustments prior to payroll processing
  • Process employee lifecycle payroll changes including new hires, terminations, compensation updates, and position changes to maintain accurate payroll records
  • Support payroll administration across multiple union environments, ensuring pay practices align with applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBAs)
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, perform payroll reconciliations, and respond to employee and leadership payroll inquiries
  • Utilize UKG, Paylocity, and Excel to support payroll processing, reporting, audits, and payroll-related projects

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting high-volume payroll (800+ employees)  
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and varying state wage and payroll compliance laws  
  • Experience working with payroll systems such as UKG, Paylocity, or similar HRIS/payroll platforms, with strong Excel skills  
  • Experience administering garnishments, tax levies, and other payroll deductions while ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance  
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, reconcile payroll discrepancies, and support payroll in complex environments, including multiple facilities or union agreements  
  • FPC or CPP certification preferred

$24.00- $26.00 DOE
