We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Documentation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join our team of healthcare communication experts. In this role, you will transform audio medical dictations into precise, high-quality written records that support patient care. A commitment to accuracy of not less than 85%, timeliness, and ethical standards is essential to ensuring our records are both complete and reliable.

This work can be demanding, especially when audio quality is compromised, however, a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care drives every transcriptionist’s mission.

Job Responsibilities:

Transcribing recordings from doctors, medico-legal professionals, and healthcare teams
Converting medical data from ER visits, medico-legal documents, and comprehensive chart reviews into highly accurate records
Ensure proper spelling, grammar, and consistency, adhering to medical terminology standards
Reviewing and refining transcriptions by referring to the resources like Steadman's, Quick Look, and American Heritage, etc. HIPAA compliance is a must

Requirements

Proven experience (more than 2 years) in medical transcription field after completing training and certification
Ability to transcribe audio recordings from physicians, medico-legal professionals, and other healthcare providers with an accuracy of above 85%
Proficiency with transcription software and medical terminology
Strong attention to detail, grammar, and spelling
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage challenging audio files
