Yark is currently hiring individuals to join our Custodial Team.  You will work closely with our Managers to ensure we are provide the best possible automotive experience.   Our Custodial people will keep our facilities in clean and orderly condition, and perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. You will sanitize all restrooms, perform general cleaning of all public spaces, and detail clean on a monthly basis. Duties will include moving from one location to another and some light exterior cleaning. This will be a first shift position. 
 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide high quality customer service and satisfaction at or above company standards
  • Maintain good working relations with customers and coworkers
  • Effectively manage the workload and schedule
  • Service, clean, or supply restrooms 
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Gather and empty trash 
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using proper tools 
  • Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties 
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment 
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures 
  • Move furniture or supplies, manually for cleaning
  • Ensure you operate under safe conditions according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and other mandated regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management




Requirements
  • Custodial experience preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Clean, professional appearance
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
