Position Overview
Charlotte Mechanical is seeking a highly driven and experienced Residential HVAC Sales Lead to spearhead growth within our residential market. This pivotal role will focus on expanding revenue, driving customer acquisition, and delivering exceptional service experience. You will collaborate closely with our HVAC technicians and Operations Manager to ensure seamless execution and long-term customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand residential HVAC market share and meet revenue targets.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new leads through initiative-taking prospecting, community outreach, and referral networks.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with homeowners by understanding their comfort needs and offering tailored HVAC solutions.
- Partner with technicians and project teams to ensure smooth handoffs, timely installations, and excellent service delivery.
- Maintain a strong understanding of product offerings, financing options, and promotional programs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales representatives as needed.
- Stay informed on local market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging HVAC technologies.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven success in residential HVAC sales or a related field (3+ years preferred)
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative selling approach
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational abilities
Bonus Points
- Previous leadership or mentorship experience within a sales team
- Certifications or formal HVAC technical training
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
