The Job
We have an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Group Marketing Manager to lead our team of rockstar B2G Marketing Managers. The ideal candidate has solid B2G field marketing and demand generation experience and worked side-by-side with a quota-driven technology sales teams for a minimum of 5 years. They are comfortable with a wide array of modern technology, possess a deep understanding of a marketer’s role in building a sales pipeline and a proven track record of being able to do this in an annual recurring revenue (ARR) model. In this role, the Group Marketing Manager will perform in a ‘player-coach’ role as you lead our experienced team of B2G marketers and contribute to campaign development, from audience identification and messaging to activity and execution.
The team you will lead works with our client's sales, marketing, and strategy teams to understand their business strategy and develop marketing plans that achieve their targeted goals. They understand the client’s technology and market segment, and deliver the insight-driven strategy, plans and guidance needed for client and channel teams to perform at optimal levels. They are the consummate team players who tackle the full marketing funnel: awareness to demand. Your role will be to manage, mentor the team to use the full complement of marketing tactics against the GovBuyer’s Journey™, and measure it all with solid ROI and metrics. You will occasionally play the role of team-mate on high profile client projects and initiatives. This position requires a self-starter who is creative, collaborative, organized, and highly responsive. Also necessary is a highly collaborative spirit, a B2X professional who understands tech sales organizational structures and norms, and know how to press forward with urgency balanced with careful presence.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of experienced B2G Marketing Managers, ensuring they meet their KPIs and develop professionally
- Know your audience: Track market and channel trends to adjust marketing strategies accordingly. Public sector or regulated industries experience a plus -- or show us your passion and experience for effective audience targeting
- Content and messaging: to connect with our target audience. Provide input for new sales and marketing materials by developing an understanding of client products and solutions
- Develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns tailored to meet specific sales and marketing objectives. This includes practical experience with time-bound, metrics-driven, demand-generation programs
- Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and report on the ROI of activities
- Plan, manage and execute marketing events
- Serve as the marketing point-of-contact on cross-functional teams for various projects and initiatives
- Represent, communicate, and champion GBR brand and marketing guidelines
- Track and record work time in an accurate and timely manner
- Attendance at onsite visits with clients and in-person staff meetings

- Marketing experience should be in the Field, Channel, or Campaign Development areas of marketing
- Public sector experience is highly recommended -- or show us your passion and experience for effective audience targeting in another industry such as Healthcare or Education
- Travel for in-person meetings is required
