Head Customer Service Representative (Carey)
Description

PURPOSE:

Supervises, CSR duties and daily operation of Banking Center Customer Service Representative line, full & part-time staff and related activities.


PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

* Provide prompt, tactful, friendly, courteous and efficient service to customers.

* Administer and control Banking Center teller operations.

* New Accounts Responsibilities, including training customer service representative staff, creating

local sales and service initiatives, and recognizing customers’ needs and cross-selling bank products.

* Cash and coin deposits.

* Redeem Series E & EE Savings Bonds.

* Issue credit card cash advances.

* Mortgage, commercial and installment payments.

* Prepare cash and general ledger debits and credits.

* Night deposit bags and daily mail deposits.

* Other services including cashiers checks, personal money orders, savings bonds, ATM applications.

* ATM balancing duties.

* Process and balance back-counter daily.

* Review and implement weekly staffing schedules and monitor attendance and time sheets.

* Maintain reports as required for customer service representative balancing, check losses, ect.

* Be involved in new customer service representative staff training.

* Attend BOLT (Banking Office Leadership Team) Meetings and relay topics to staff

* Create, motivate and maintain a A-team work@ atmosphere in staff.

* Referral program to First Citizens Financial Group and other bank products.

* With Manager, prepare performance reviews and counsel employees.

* Maintains compliance to all government regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation E

(Electronic Funds), Regulation CC (Funds Availability, CRA and Regulation DD.

Other duties as assigned or directed.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

High school, GED, and at least four years teller experience, two years supervisory or equivalent; excellent performance; demonstrated leadership ability; outstanding customer relations skills.
