Description

CKD USA Corporation is looking for a dynamic local candidate in the Austin, TX area. The Cleanroom Technician is responsible for overseeing the cutting, cleaning, drying, and inspection processes supporting the orbital welding manufacturing operations.

Report all activities in responsible area to the Production Supervisor. 


Responsibilities:

  • Works both in cleanroom and non-cleanroom environment.
  • Performs and oversees precision cutting process for stainless steel tubing.
  • Performs and oversees laser marking process for in-process parts.
  • Performs and oversees cleaning and drying processes for cut tubing.
  • Processes jobs via computer system(s).
  • Performs pre and post welding inspections.
  • Conducts periodic maintenance on factory equipment.

Requirements:

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 of years of relevant work experience, working in a dynamic high-tech manufacturing or factory environment
  • Knowledge/hands-on experience with software/technical tools i.e., Microsoft office suite, Excel MS Word etc. Proficiency in Dynamics or other Inventory Management software applications a plus
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments.
  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
  • Can learn and apply new information or skills.
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
  • Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.
  • Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements.
  • Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate open, clear, concise, and professional communication.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customer.
  • Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
