Description

The Analyst, Clinical Excellence is responsible for developing materials to support customers in achieving operational excellence. They hold a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare-related subject matter content, product functionality, industry topics, and/or project management. Through collaboration, Analysts operationalize the EHR by focusing on strategic industry and healthcare initiatives and complex workflows using MEDITECH to optimize and achieve measurable outcomes. The Analyst team is knowledgeable on workflows and integration. They show initiative by leading and implementing projects to move our customer toward a high level of success with full use of their EHR.  


As a member of our clinical excellence team, your job would involve:

  • Serving as an authority on various healthcare industry topics and initiatives in order to develop EHR Best Practices and educational materials for the customer base and internal purposes
  • Developing project plans, including charters, stakeholders, risks, and milestones
  • Managing all aspects of the project from the initial idea phase all the way through to launch, customer/staff education, and maintenance
  • Performing research and summarizing findings using industry standard sources specific to the clinical project topic
  • Collaborating with in-house clinicians, knowledge experts throughout the company, customers, and project managers to help the customer define organizational priorities, goals, and objectives
  • Overseeing high level, multi-­division projects as needed
  • Engaging directly with C-­level executives at customer sites as well as MEDITECH executives; relationships should be developed and successfully maintained
  • Assisting with the development of documentation, training and education materials, roadshows, seminars, and new hire training
  • Being a product resource regarding enhancements, product integration, workflow
  • Troubleshooting, researching, and assisting in solving software problems
  • Understanding MEDITECH's goals, solutions, and strategic initiatives in order to effectively communicate the information to the customer
  • Trending and analysis of data to assist in driving product or customer service related initiatives
  • Traveling 15% of the time, anywhere within the United States and Canada.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred and/or 2-3 years applicable work or military experience
  • Comfortable with travel
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Established presentation skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Recognized product expert and leader, demonstrates initiative
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of MEDITECH’s clinical applications preferred, but not requirement
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • You may be required to show proof of vaccination when traveling to a customer site unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption.

This is a hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
