  We are looking for a Full-Time Sales Representative to join our Salt Lake City team!!!

Main Scope of Work:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base, increase market share, and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relations with key clients, and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product positioning.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer needs to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent Hartung Glass Industries in industry, manufacturing, and trade associations.
  • Hunt for new business and customer maintenance, with an emphasis on growth.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from news sources, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, websites, and other sources.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
Requirements
  •  Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred; two years related experience in outside sales; commercial glass and architectural aluminum (storefront and curtain wall) sales experience preferred, building material sales experience required at a minimum. 
  • Extensive experience in glass fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment, with a focus on sales.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software tools for production planning, inventory management, and quality control
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, employment regulations, financial reports, legal documents, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports, correspondence, and procedures with conformance to the prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings, including the ability to respond to questions from employees, managers, clients and government entities.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Salary depends on experience and is a combination of base salary plus commissions.
