Kingstonville is seeking an experienced SME II Senior SharePoint Subject Matter Expert to join our team. This candidate will have the demonstrated experience creating and managing SharePoint sites to support our federal clients. The SharePoint SME will serve as the technical lead for administration, development, support, and maintenance following the successful migration from a COTS WMS platform to SharePoint. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor, maintain, and enhance existing systems to increase functionality and optimize performance. Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint 2016 (or greater) features and functionalities and provide technical advice to team members This position will report to the Program Manager.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Leads SharePoint design, configuration, deployment and maintenance support efforts
- Develops software solutions by effectively interpreting requirements analysis and information needs; confers with stakeholders and IT Management; studies systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debugs, tests, and deploys software solutions
- Executes within an Agile SDLC framework
- Designs, develops and maintains key components of the software suite using SharePoint Server 2016 or greater
- Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Actively participates in SharePoint Migrations and Product Design Reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment
- Logs, analyzes, and troubleshoots technical issues, following the process through to resolution and reporting on progress and findings to relevant stakeholders

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Additional directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in SharePoint development, systems architecture, application modernization, and enterprise platform integration, including support for federal IT environments.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in custom SharePoint development.
- Strong programming background with experience developing well-written, well-documented, modular, and maintainable code.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including unit testing, application packaging, and deployment from development (DEV) through production (PROD) environments.
- Thorough knowledge of .NET/C#, IIS, Azure Active Directory, and SharePoint configuration and site settings.
- Extensive experience developing complex SharePoint workflows using SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 or later.
- Experience with SQL Server technologies, including stored procedures, complex SQL queries, and SQL data analysis.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and/or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) preferred.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage assigned tasks through completion with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays when required.
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain the required background investigation.
