Job Description

• Spray gel coat on to the molds 

• Check catalyst ratios

• Measure mils for appropriate thickness

• Maintains equipment associated with gel coating

• Apply proper spraying techniques (training provided)

• Fine line and tape molds before spraying

• Clean or wax molds before use

• Maintain mold maintenance and production logs for your department

• Must use appropriate PPE when spraying

Requirements

• Ability to follow safety guidelines

• Ability to work at a fast pace

• Able to use pneumatic equipment

• Ability to follow a schedule

• Quality and Detail Oriented 

Able to wear a breathing apparatus or respirator

• Fiberglass lamination and gel coating experience a plus

Work Environment

Must wear personal protective equipment and safety equipment such as closed toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection or respirator when exposed for long periods of time to hazardous materials (chemicals and/or fiberglass dust). While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to hear, talk, walk, stand, and bend. Lifting, pushing, and pulling less the 20 pounds daily. Occasionally may be required to push, pull, or lift, up to 50 pounds.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be authorized to work in the United States. 

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
