Math Lab tutors assist students one-on-one or in small groups with math study skills, content specific questions concerning assignments and/or ideas from class, and test preparation. The math lab operates on a walk-in basis and serves students enrolled in Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus for the Social and Life Sciences, Calculus I and Elementary Statistics.

Requirements:
You must be Reliable: you must commit to 2 shifts a week at the beginning of the semester and stick with those times. In addition to being reliable, you must have completed Calculus I and/or Math 114 with the grade of B or better (AP credit for Calculus will be accepted in place of the course grade), you must submit the name of a professor who will serve as a recommendation for the position and with whom they will primarily work and attend class, and finally the tutor must be enrolled, or have completed, the first level of the tutor training classes (LST 180).
