Description

KP Aviation, an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team! The Sales Account Manager - EMEA is responsible for establishing, managing and developing strong relationships with customers to initiate and facilitate the sale of engine parts to airlines, MROs and other aviation related companies. The primary function is to provide and improve the overall customer experience through initiating and handling sales calls, providing quotes and following up with customers. The position is responsible for obtaining pricing and delivery information from vendors and brokers, while analyzing current inventory to maximize potential. Initiative will need to be shown to increase sales and become efficient with workflow and processes, while keeping customers satisfied and engaged. Performs any other requests or duties as assigned by management.


Your role will take you to new heights, as you’ll be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:

  • Serve as a lead point of contact for customer account management matters.
  • Establish, develop and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Make outbound sales calls to facilitate the sale of material.
  • Increase customer base through outbound contact of end-users based in company-specified platforms.
  • Develop profitable accounts that regularly meet the owned account requirements of the company.
  • Provide responses to requests for quotes and conduct daily follow-ups on existing quotes.
  • Manage the Open Order Report on a daily basis to communicate with internal and external parties.
  • Assist with order processing, expediting and status updates.
  • Assist in diversifying, managing and expanding the company’s product offerings by identifying opportunities with customers.
  • Identify and assist with market research projects to better understand the business needs of customers, as well as market and industry trends.
  • Identify purchasing and consignment opportunities with existing customers, in addition to opportunities to sell aging inventory.
  • Manage/identify material for repair and communicate with repair team with repair vendor, approximate cost and any engineering/modifications to the component/material.
  • Assist in maintaining min/max number of serviceable units in stock by making sure that units are sent to repair once current units are sold.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customers remain highly satisfied.
  • Recognize and analyze customer purchasing patterns in order to better anticipate customer needs.
  • Develop potential and new business opportunities with customers and end-users outside of the company’s current customer list and grow the customer base.
  • Attend conferences that will aide in development of business relations with new and existing customers.
  • Travel and conduct onsite visits with customers to improve relationships and expand on the company’s core competencies.
  • Work with the Sales leadership and Product Line teams to ensure inventory is appropriately priced in regard to the current market.
  • Communicate with customers and representatives of internal departments.
  • Participate in the development of organizational and operational excellence by upholding company policies and procedures as well as demonstrating a level of professionalism and communication consistent with the expectations of the position.

  • Secondary school completion or equivalent required; some university preferred
  • Minimum of three years of related Sales Experience required
  • Experience in the aviation industry required
  • Experience working with commercial aircraft component sales required
