Location: 1 position in Bend, 1 position in Redmond

Compensation: $22.76/hour

Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week)

Benefits: 100% premium paid Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Agency paid Retirement plan (up to 6%), almost 16 weeks of paid vacation time total accrual during the first five years (increases after that), plus 14 paid Holidays annually and a separate sick leave accrual

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

This position at the Bend main office encompasses reception and administrative responsibilities. The role involves managing front desk activities, greeting the public and providing information on NeighborImpact programs and services, answering and directing calls, processing mail, and opening and closing the office. Additionally, it includes guiding clients to suitable community resources. The role requires bilingual communication abilities in English and Spanish, offering interpretation and translation services when necessary.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One-year office/administrative experience required, in social services preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required, both written and spoken
  • Notary certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds, frequent sitting while working at computer and standing to operate various office equipment 
  • Prior to date of hire and throughout employment:
  1. Valid driver’s license. 
  2. Proof of current auto insurance.
  3. Access to reliable transportation required.
  4. Satisfactory criminal background check required. 
  5. Current enrollment in the OR Child Care Division-Criminal History Registry
