Description

PACE is seeking an enthusiastic BCBA to provide behavioral support and program development for our Faces early intervention and school age clients located in the south peninsula. As a BCBA, you will oversee direct care staff providing ABA programs for children on the Autism Spectrum.

Essential Functions:

· Provide behavior consultation and services to children in therapy sessions at our Faces clinic, limited travel to client homes.

· Collaborate with other BCBAs to provide supervision and training for behavior therapists 

· Develop and review functional and motivational behavior assessments, behavioral plans and interventions. Must be able to implement a system to collect and graph behavioral information and interpret behavioral data. (Familiarity with Centralreach data tracking a plus.)

· Conduct assessments for potential and current clients and submit insurance paperwork as necessary; complete treatment plans and updates as needed for clients.

· Conduct on-site and direct observation of children’s behavior and track progress

· Model the skillful usage of basic behavioral procedures including: differential reinforcement, appropriate ratio of reinforcement to instructions, behavior specific praise, reinforcement sampling, generative teaching incidental and natural environment teaching, effective prompting, discrete trial instruction, behavior reduction procedures.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education: Must possess MA/MS degree in field of Behavior Analysis or related field

Certification: Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) ideally with at least one year of experience.

Experience: Extensive experience in ABA programming with the autism population including traditional teaching methods (e.g. discrete trial) and naturalistic/incidental teaching and the verbal behavior approach.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in understanding behavior (ABA) literature for program development and implementation. Experience with VB-MAPP, ABLLS, Essential for Living Assessment and/or other developmental assessment/tracking tools. Ability to accurately record and report monthly billing.

Communication Skills: The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be creative, energetic and enthusiastic. Strong writing skills are necessary to document treatment sessions.

Management and Organizational Skills: Must have the ability to develop and implement written treatment directions and collect and interpret numeric data. 

Driver: Must possess a valid California driver’s license with a good driving record, proof of insurance and access to a vehicle with which to travel to and from therapy sessions, meetings and the office/clinic.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift and/or push 30 pounds

· Ability to physically bend, squat, reach over shoulders and head, kneel, sit, walk on normal or uneven surfaces and stand.

· Drive to clinic and office as needed

· Perform office work

· Obtain and maintain a clear DOJ/FBI clearance and clear physical health, and TB test once offer is accepted.

$70,000-$90,000 per year
