Description

Sunflower Bank is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full time position of Maintenance in Kansas to assist in general maintenance on the bank’s buildings and properties throughout the organization footprint. This position will be responsible for carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, general maintenance, and overall support of our branches and departments. Occasional overnight travel will be necessary. If you have previous building and ground maintenance experience, have strong oral interpersonal skills and are able to work flexible hours, this is the job for you!


This position requires frequent travel. Van and tools provided.

  • Perform routine maintenance on the company’s buildings and properties.
  • Light plumbing repairs.
  • Carpentry work with drills and saws.
  • Responsible for electrical including, remove and install various outlets and switches, ballasts, fix connectors, remove and install various light fixtures, use various gauges, replace circuit breaks, run wiring or cable.
  • Responsible for drywall including, remove and replace gypsum board, cut for outlets, hang nails or screws, paper sand or wet sand, tape joints and flair flats and corners, cut and attach metal corners.
  • Manage maintenance staff jobs and responsibilities.
  • Perform parking lot and grounds maintenance, as required.
  • Manage rental spaces and tenants.
  • Performance snow and ice removal.
  • Assist in stockroom or deliver supplies, as required.
  • Perform movement, placement, assembly, disassembly of office furniture, accessories, equipment and repairs to furniture and equipment.
  • Assist other branches on building and grounds maintenance.
  • Perform morning security procedures at company.
  • Perform routine painting as required.

Education/Experience Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous building and ground maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must possess appropriate verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience and location.
