Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive promptly at the venue and be prepared to start work.
  • Set up the venue bar according to client selections and event specifications.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic and classic cocktails, as well as shots, and be able to make drink suggestions to guests based on event bar options.
  • Memorize all company drink recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Carry out tasks efficiently, including stocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness to company standards, and assisting servers with water refills and clearing when bar volume allows.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of where all supplies are located and ensure the bar remains well-stocked throughout the event.
  • Complete assigned side work during and after events to contribute to the smooth operation of the bar.
  • Break down the bar at the end of the event, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, shots, and drink mixing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Physical ability to carry upwards of 50 pounds and perform tasks required for bar setup and breakdown.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be of legal drinking age.
