Description

Purpose: The IT Support Technician is responsible for day to day troubleshooting and repair, equipment issue, user configuration and maintenance and IT systems maintenance.


Essential Functions:

  • Analyzes low to moderate-complexity technical and business problems using general knowledge of business operations, business products, business processes, data, architecture, vendor integration, and application connectivity.
  • Responsible for a variety of operational activities that may include vendor support, reporting, system administration, systems access.
  • Responds to incident tickets and requests from internal users of low to medium complexity using basic knowledge of assigned applications and triages to the appropriate resource as needed.
  • Trains users on existing software and helps team on updates as well.
  • Provides support for degradation or outages detected (often requires travel)
  • Coordinates with more senior team members based on impact, developers, and vendors to determine the root cause and user impacts.
  • Learns new functionality being implemented for monthly releases to support user questions and issues.
  • Willingness to learn and become on site support for additional company run software to include Integra, Quadrel, etc.
  • Assists with Error Report monitoring and may work simple errors identified in the report.
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and joins working teams to improve processes.
  • Works in coordination with the IT team.
  • Follow through and ownership of assigned cases, installations, and troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to and abide by company safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Help Desk Software experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
  • Advances understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems & Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and processes.
  • Requires communication, collaboration, documentation, and analytical skills.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
