The Gist...

As an Automated Test Engineer you will support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems on a mission-critical program.

What Your Day Might Include...

• Provide technical guidance during a significant project in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining program.
• Translate and interpret functional requirements into test cases.
• Maintain test environment and install new software code as necessary to support applications.
• Develop and use automated tests.
• Perform regression testing, covering full suite of Operational Test Scenarios for builds and/or images to be delivered to customer.
• Develop detailed test plans, test data and define test acceptance criteria.
• Prepare test report summarizing test results including anomalies, systems errors, and configuration changes.
• Support the software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirements.
• Verify specific action or function of code to demonstrate to the customer.
• Assist the software development team in the implementation of automated regression testing.
• Support Customer Demonstration, data prep and UAT activities.

You'll Bring These Qualifications...

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other closely related field with a minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Experience creating and executing test cases, focusing on both functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience with tools such as Cucumber, Bamboo, Selenium, Jenkins, and BuildForge
• Experience developing automated test scripts
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Demonstrated experience working with other developers to jointly design and implement solutions to challenging problems. impeding the progress of the product team.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating changes in processes to improve team efficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint)
• Experience on AWS, CI/CD, SecDevOps is a plus
