Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and repeat business by taking guest orders, completing payment transactions, preparing meal orders and maintaining the overall appearance of the deli.

  • Take guest order, complete payment transaction using a cash register and make change accurately.
  • Prepare meal order in an expeditious manner while adhering to menu and recipe specifications that meet quality controls. Preparing and serving of espresso drinks.
  • Maintain the deli in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition. Clean, mop floors, take trash out, wash dishes, etc.
  • Maintain logs, checklists and reports.
  • Assist with maintaining deli inventory by restocking condiments, utensils, paper products, etc.
  • Report customer comments to supervisor regarding menu prices, recipes, food quality and related issues.
  • Provide constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
  • May assist with Prep Cooking. i.e.: Slicing and/or portioning deli meats, portioning and packaging food, using the fryer to prepare food.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED Certificate preferred.
  • 1 year deli experience preferred.
  • Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certificate required.
  • Current OLCC License required.
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
