Description
This role is part of a collaborative imaging team responsible for operating two MRI units and one X-ray machine, Monday through Friday. As Louisiana’s leading neuroscience center, The NeuroMedical Center offers the opportunity to work closely with Neuroradiologists, Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, and a highly skilled clinical team focused on diagnosing and treating neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify physician orders and imaging procedures for accuracy
- Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding
- Independently operate MRI and X-ray equipment in accordance with established protocols (including IV placement)
- Review images to confirm diagnostic quality prior to submission
- Perform routine quality control procedures in compliance with regulatory standards and address any issues as needed
- Support departmental operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and equipment upkeep
- Adapt communication and care approach to meet the needs of diverse patient populations, ensuring respect, privacy, and clarity
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: 1 years’ experience, ARRT and LSRT certifications required
