About the Role

As a Gift Planning Specialist, you'll be the heartbeat of our department’s daily operations. This isn’t just any administrative role – you’ll lead exciting projects, ensure the highest standards of legal correspondence, and collaborate to drive marketing initiatives that inspire our community of donors. Whether it's coordinating crucial gift documentation, managing complex donor communications, or collaborating with university stakeholders, your work will directly support our mission to secure future gifts that make a lasting impact. 


What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and prepare vital documents for gift planning, from life income agreements to donor communications.
  • Interpret legal and organizational documents, ensuring everything is in place for our generous donors.
  • Act as a key point of contact for alumni, donors, and university administrators, providing top-notch service and support.
  • Collaborate with others on marketing efforts to boost our team’s effectiveness and drive private support through innovative strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to plan and execute special events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all involved.
Requirements

 What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional experience in insurance, financial planning, estate planning, legal/paralegal, or similar fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a knack for crafting clear, concise business and legal correspondence.
  • A proven track record of proactive team support, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities like a pro.
  • Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Bonus points if you have a Bachelor’s degree in business or finance and knowledge of gift planning practices!
