Functions of a watchman include:

· Visually inspecting the parking lot, doors, and front office for any unwelcomed guests.

· Follow safety rules and report any unsafe conditions.

· Record and track temperatures of furnaces and launders.

· Monitor die cast machine for leaks

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities  

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Physical Demands 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk continuously, bend, use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to fumes, varying levels of noise, lighting, and varying temperature extremes in the plant environment. The noise level ranges from low (office environment) to moderate (general plant environment) to high (near machines)
