Summary
We're seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Account Manager to drive our marketing strategies and operational excellence with the experience team. This role is integral in translating high-level strategies into actionable plans and overseeing their execution.
You'll spend your days on the following:
- Client facing role that develops and implements marketing strategies aligned with program goals
- Transform marketing strategies into detailed action plans and oversee their execution across client event executions
- Participate in client facing meetings owning all deliverables for marketing, contributing to client relationship success and guiding internal teams to achieve excellence in deliverables
- Oversee all marketing channels for client programs, including digital, content, event, and sponsor marketing
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to support RFP processes and drive revenue growth participating in large-scale sales presentations as part of a cross-functional team
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
- Lead and mentor the marketing operations team, guiding resource planning and leadership across creative marketing team
- Establish KPIs and regularly report on marketing performance to client program leadership
- Optimize marketing processes and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and provide insights to guide decision-making
What you need to be successful:
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in marketing program delivery, preferably in the live events industry, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of successful strategy implementation and team leadership
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, particularly in the experience or events industry
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Confident presentation and communication abilities
- Operationally minded, with an eye towards guiding teams through scaling, change management
- Proficiency in marketing technologies and data analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Highly strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Natural leader who can inspire and motivate teams
- Detail-oriented while maintaining a big-picture perspective
