ELIGIBLE FOR $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS

1st shift position

Performs general labor duties and handle or transport material, using electric hoists/cranes, hand hoists, walking electric lift trucks, hand trucks, brooms, shovels and scrap bins.

· Receives instructions and work assignment from Foreman.

· Loads and unloads material, using electric cranes, hand hoists and overhead crane hooks.

· Uses hand truck or powered industrial vehicle to transport material to various production departments.

· Performs general labor duties, sweeps and cleans plant/yard. Maintains a variety of supplies in wash rooms.

· Connects and disconnects powered industrial vehicle to battery charger. Checks vehicle batteries.

Requirements

Exercise judgment to hook up and operate electric cranes, powered industrial vehicles.
Move materials with care to ensure no damage is sustained.
Moderate physical exertion to attach slings or hooks to load

Working Hours:

1st shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm
