Job Summary

Direct and execute business development efforts to cultivate potential business prospects for the New York market. Represent Henricksen at industry and networking events to strengthen brand and market presence. Collaborate on proposals, presentations, and qualification packages to drive sales.

  • Business Development. Attract and retain new and existing business relationships. Plan and promote events to attract industry influencers, educating and walking them through the manufactured construction process. Continually seek opportunities to build viable prospect pipeline.
  • Brand development. Create visibility and expand Henricksen’s network with community involvement and networking events. Develop and deliver presentations for all industry sectors, including but not limited to, A&D, GC, CRE.
  • Customer Relationship. Act as point of contact and conduit for activities, services, and pre- orders management. Maintain a comprehensive view of the customer’s needs, goals, and expectations. Oversee and develop quality relations with customer team and third parties engaged on account. Monitor customer satisfaction and efforts to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Product Showcase. Be a resource for clients and project stakeholders on the product offerings. Highlight and advise on product options and recommendations that appeal to interests and needs.
  • Sales Order Management. Coordinate the development of customer proposals and manage RFP reviews, estimates, and responses. Develop and/or collaborate on plans and product specifications. Produce and present comprehensive and professional quotes to customer in a timely manner. Partner appropriately to develop and present service contracts to customers when complex services are sold.
  • Sales and Marketing. Market full range of products and services to customers in line with needs and goals. Provide customer timely product and service updates to expose customer to new opportunities and options. Identify and coordinate with Marketing and Account Executive to move on account penetration opportunities.
  • Team and People Leadership. Work with Account Executives to set clear expectations and accountabilities for project team. Model and reinforce a positive project team culture in line with organization values and mission. Manage timelines and deliverable dates to ensure balanced workloads.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, construction management or equivalent industry experience
  • 3-5 of experience of industry experience, previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated ability to read construction specifications, drawings, and details
  • Conversant on local building code
  • General understanding of acoustic capabilities, door hardware and rough material cost estimation
  • Competent but actively working towards proficiency in the construction process and architectural product offerings
  • Experience with Bluebeam or drafting software
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship orientation
  • Ability to collaborate with positive and professional demeanor
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to identify and positively influence key decision makers and influencers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Salary Description
$120,000 - $140,000 per year
