Description

Reporting to the Director of Analytics, the Data Engineer will execute the day-to-day maintenance, operation, enhancement, development, and compliance of the enterprise data warehouse, data acquisition, ETL pipelines, KPI reporting, and advanced analytics. This is a functional/operational role that requires combining industry knowledge of best practices with day-to-day execution of data engineering operations in support of data analytics and reporting. This role will work closely with the Director of Analytics, vendors, and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective analytics solutions/approaches in support of ARCs operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • In coordination with the Director of Analytics, assists in executing the development and implementation of the organization’s analytical solutions, from roadmap creation to project planning, development, implementation and communication to the organization as needed.
  • Partner with appropriate resources to ensure applications meet all security and compliance requirements, evolving over time to meet changing needs and best practices.
  • Provides appropriate levels of support to ensure smooth on-going analytics operations and use.
  • Works with internal and external resources to ensure high levels of data integrity and quality
  • Ensure appropriate levels of user permissions and assignment through periodic audits/reviews
  • Partner with IT leadership, business unit leaders and service providers to provide strategic solutions and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain, monitor, and improve operational effectiveness, accuracy, and scalability of ETL environments/processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Analytics.
Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience and successful operation of complex ETL development in analytics/business intelligence environments (healthcare experience preferred)
  • Excellent project execution skills, development skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working alongside and maintaining vendor relationships for analytics services and solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in the analytics technology stack, including but not limited to, Data warehousing, Azure Synapse, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft SQL, Fabric, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Must have strong communications and relationship skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
  • Proficient with SQL and Visualization design.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Microsoft Excel or similar.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Azure Data Factory / Synapse pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to abide by ethical guidelines and policies, including strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.


This is a non-clinical position

Salary Description
$90,000-$130,000/Year
