Job Summary


The Senior Corporate Accountant will assist in performing multiple accounting functions for the production of monthly financial statements and payment of invoices.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare accrual and prepaid expense journal entries for month end reporting.
  • Review invoice coding for accuracy.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements for senior management.
  • Assist with preparation of financial data for board presentations.
  • Maintain fix assets listing with amortization schedules.
  • Reconcile ledger accounts to subledgers or other schedules.
  • Assist with tax schedules and tax filings as needed.
  • Assist with the annual audits.
  • Prepare FINRA filings for broker dealer.

Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years accounting experience - preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting - required; CPA is - strongly preferred. 
  • Efficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel 
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
