Gravity Haus is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Spa Lead to join our growing team. The Spa Lead is responsible for providing guests with comprehensive and professional massages and/or esthetician treatments. The spa lead will lead and develop the spa team by way of training and standards. The spa lead will work with spa management to drive spa business, revenue and enhance the guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• 10 hours of spa lead availability weekly
• Full time availability 30 hours average per week
• Flexible schedule, including days, nights, holidays, weekends and must be available on an "on call" basis if needed
• Responsible for training all new and current service providers on spa treatments and protocols
• Responsible for professional product inventory and control
• Coordinate and enter payroll as needed for spa team
• Ensure service providers follow service rules and regulations under their license in the state
• Ensure service providers are monitored and trained on new and existing protocols
• Act as a leader for service providers and work with spa management to enforce service standards and HOPs
• Distribute professional products to staff as necessary and maintain cleanliness standards of front and back of house
• Assist spa director in ensuring that service provider licenses are up to date and renewed as needed
• Assist spa management with service providers schedules as needed
• Assist in arranging vendor training on treatment protocols and retail
• Responsible for quarterly meetings of spa department and attendance
• Provide communication channel from spa management to spa team
• Assist in inventory/ordering pars of retail product for services
• Communicate any maintenance/general cleanliness issues to spa management
• Ensure equipment utilized for treatments is in good working order

Education and Experience

• Massage therapist license required
• Esthetician license is beneficial
• 1+ years of experience in spa services
• 1+ years leadership experience preferred
• Associates degree preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs
